Price is per day, 7 night stay. 50% deposit
required at time of reservation. Balance
due 30 days prior to arrival. In case
of a cancellation the initial deposit will be credited
to a future rental. The balance deposit will
be returned to you in it's totality provided
you give us 15 days' notice.
Check in 4pm, Check Out 11am.
*We
are more than willing to entertain offers for monthly rentals. We believe
our home
would provide an incredible deal to a retired
couple and friends. So feel free to inquire.
The rates for a monthly rental will depend
upon the time of year and the
number of months you rent.
VERY
IMPORTANT
**Since
the Country Club charges us $100 replacement fee for lost cards, we ask
that you make a $300 dollar deposit to insure
that you return your access cards
and keys upon the completion of your vacation
stay. This deposit will be returned within
1 week upon your rental completion as
you return each access card and our home’s keys.

How
to get to Casa Xel-Ha from the airport or from the Highway.
Casa Xel-Ha is approximately 10 minutes from
the Acapulco International Airport or an extremely
easy drive from Mexico City (Appx 3.5 hours).
If
you arrive by car take the direction of Punta
Diamante and when the highway ends you will
find the Punta Diamante Avenue. You just have
to cross the Avenue and you will see the entrance
to the Fraccionamiento Mayan. Follow
that road and you will get to the Gated guard
entrance where you only have to mention that
you are going to the Fraccionamiento Xel-Ha
and you will be granted entrance. Follow the
road, passing the tunnel and you will hit
the Main Avenue. Go straight until you reach the
big construction of a Commercial Center and
to the left the Golf Club and at the next
opportunity make a U-turn to the left.
There you will see to the right the gated entrance to
the Fraccionamiento Xel-Ha. In case
you come from the Airport, we have created
a
MAP
for you for you to print out and provide to the Taxi driver.
At that gate simply
mention which house you're going to and show
your picture ID.
CHECK
IN and CHECK OUT time
Since Casa Xel-Ha is a weekly rental property,
there may be other guests checking out
on the day you arrive. Our check out time
is 11 am, and check in is not until 4:00 pm.
This will provide us sufficient time to have
your house cleaned for you prior to your arrival.
If the home has not been rented prior to your
arrival, we have no problem with you arriving
earlier. We will need to share this
with you as we approach your reservation date.
How
to CHECK IN
Check in is quite simple, BUT
YOU MUST BRING A PICTURE ID WITH YOU.
All you have to do is arrive to the Casa Xhel-Ha
entrance as shown on the MAP
and show
your picture ID. The guard will confirm
your reservation with the administration officers.
When you are confirmed, you will receive access
to Casa Xel-Ha. You will be given a
set of KEYS and the set of MEMBERSHIP CARDS
for access to the Golf and Tennis Club.
These Keys and CARDS are like GOLD. Without
them, you cannot enter your
vacation property or get access to the Country
Club.
How
to CHECK OUT
To check out, all you must do is clean Casa
Xel-Ha (or have it cleaned by maid service) and leave
it in the same condition that you received
it. If you do not clean Casa Xel-Ha on your departure,
the price of this cleaning will be deducted
from your rental deposit ($20 Dollars), There are plenty
of cleaning materials in the home including
a vacuum cleaner. Trash can be left at the
guard shack at the entrance to Casa Xelha.
The guards will arrange to dispose of it.
We
can arrange for a daily cleaning service to provide basic maid service.
This would include general cleaning, bed service.
The cost of this service is on the average
$150 pesos a day extra (around $15 dollars).
You will pay this directly to the maid that we provide.
Please let us know beforehand if you are interested
in this additional service.
When you are ready to leave, you only need
to LOCK ALL DOORS,
and return the keys
to the GUARD HOUSE onthe day of your departure,
before 11 am.
It is CRITICAL that you
return both the KEYS and the CLUB MEMBERSHIP CARDS to
the GUARD HOUSE when you check out of Casa
Xelha.
(See above**).
What
to bring with you
Casa Xel-Ha has most all things that you might
need for living comfort (within the home).
Casa Xel-Ha includes room articles like sheets,
bed spreads, pillows, and covers.
Bathrooms are supplied with a single set of
indoor bath towels in each room. The
Kitchen includes Microwave, Blender, Coffee
Maker, Toaster Oven, Dishwasher, stove,
Refrigerator, Freezer, Post, Pans, Plates,
Cups, Glasses, and Utensils. The living
room includes a large 30 inch TV with Direct
TV, VCR, Stereo, and CD Player.
The laundry room includes a small washer and
dryer. All consumables are your responsibility.
Here

Beach towels (if you go to the Hotel pool
they will supply towels,
but for the Beach Club you need to take your
own)

Soap & Shampoo
Remember, there is a
small market, Sea Garden Market, within walking distance of
Casa Xelha where you can find most of your
necessities but its always nice to have
some basics when you arrive. Just exit
the entrance gate of Casa Xelha, turn left and
the Sea Garden market is about 500 yards
down the road on the right side.
There is a CostCo within a 10 minute taxi
drive. This is a great place to buy stapels
for a weeks stay. Remember to bring your card
from the USA.
Call a taxi to pick you up and take you to
CostCo or downtown Acapulco where many
stores, including Walmart can be found.
There are 2 ways to arrange for a taxi. The
easiest is to request the taxi from the guard shack.
Second you can arrange for this from the desk
of the Hotel.
In
case of Emergency Problems
The truth is, you should not have any problems.
Casa Xel-Ha is brand new, with all new
appliances, and home service. In the unlikely
event that you need help, at time of rental,
we will provide you via email, an informational
email with contacts information and
any other additional instructions you might
need. These contacts can be used during
your stay. The only problem is that
you must be able to speak a little bit of Spanish,
since the contacts in Acapulco will be Mexican.
If you require, these contacts
will be able to provide you maid service,
emergency repair service in home.
